It's exciting to see a new event on the 2027 calendar. Having been part of Scott Rice's Quantum Events Team, who are putting this on, you know they'll put together an awesome experience for the swimmers. With a full festival atmosphere, food trucks, the Sawmill garden bar, live music, and entertainment all weekend long.
The Ignite Freshwater Swim Fest is a two-day open water swimming festival on 13-14 February 2027, with distances

It will also host three NZ open water championship events, including the NZ Open Water, NZ Secondary School and NZ Masters Champs.
